About Us
Beau & Ro was founded by Sara Rossi in 2013 as a leather bag company and has since grown into a full apparel brand with Sara producing all of her clothes at the fair trade factory she opened in India. Read more about the history of Beau & Ro below!
Belt Bags, Clutches, and Crossbodies
It all started in 2013 in Sara Rossi's New York City apartment. Sara designed a high quality leather clutch + belt bag style, merging fashion with function. Produced in the Garment District, the line expanded into other styles and can still be found at Beau & Ro today!Â
Beau & Ro has since grown into an apparel business sold in nearly 300 stores around the country, including the two Beau & Ro stores located on King Street in Charleston, SC and on Nantucket, MA.Â
Beau & Ro Flagship
In 2021 Sara moved Beau & Ro from Mount Pleasant, SC to their flagship location on King Street in Charleston, SC! Sara carefully curates the shop with over 100 other brands that she loves, alongside Beau & Ro. It has quickly become a go to shopping destination on King Street.
Olive Workshop
Sara produces all of her clothing at her fair trade factory, Olive Workshop. She opened Olive Workshop in India in November of 2022 with her husband Sidd Chaudhary.
Olive Workshop was launched to increase transparency in the production process and offer a supportive and inspiring environment for stitchers in India. It also gave Sara control of the lifecycle of a dress from the very first stitch to the final transaction with the consumer.
Our Nantucket Store
The doors to Beau & Ro's second location opened in April 2023 on Nantucket! The Nantucket store is opened seasonally from May - October!Â
