Catfish Row
Catfish Row is a pre-Revolutionary building on Church Street in Charleston, South Carolina. The building was the inspiration for the opera Porgy and Bess by Gershwin. It's also home to my little historical apartment. Here are a couple shots from around the living room. It's bright and airy and the natural light makes designing feel a lot easier sometimes!
One of my favorite things to do is pick new leather colors each season. Mixing and matching and creating color stories sets the tone for all the designs that follow.
I also love filling the space with local art. In the living room I have pieces by Jenn Griffith (who I created the Bar Cart Bag Series with), as well as Whitney Kreb and Teil Duncan (both pictured).
And of course my favorite Nantucket artist Meredith Hanson who I created this bag collaboration with. We're so excited to be rolling out a new series for this spring and summer. In the meantime, we have a few of these amazing leather totes left!
Hi! I absolutely love this leather floral bag! Any chance that you will make something like this for spring this year?
