Travel Diaries: Bermuda

Your Guide to bermuda

With colorful streets, ocean views, long lunches, and pink sand beaches, Bermuda quickly became one of our favorite escapes. From beach clubs and tennis mornings to dinners in town and exploring the island by electric car, here’s everything I wore, where we stayed, and where we explored during our trip.

What To Pack

Lightweight dresses, easy sets, a swimsuit, and a jacket or sweater for layering at night.

My biggest travel packing tip: PACK SETS! They make getting dressed so easy because you can wear them together as a full outfit or mix and match throughout the trip, especially using the skirts as beach coverups during the day.

SHOP THE LOOKS

The Sullivan Skirt

I wore the Sullivan Skirt from the airplane straight to the beach. Easy, lightweight, and one of those pieces that works for almost every plan on the itinerary.

The Sarong Skirt + Beach Tank

My everyday exploring uniform. The Sarong Skirt paired with our beach tank was easy for daytime plans, sightseeing, and driving around the island.

The Ikat Set + Poncho

For dinner, I wore our ikat set with the matching poncho from an Argentinian brand we carry in our Sister Shop. We have it in five colors and it’s one of those standout pieces that still feels effortless.

The Blake Dress

I wore one of our newest silhouettes, The Blake Dress, in our new fish print for a beach walk and lunch at Coral Beach & Tennis Club. It felt very Bermuda, colorful, relaxed, and easy for daytime.

De Castro Dress

For dinner at Achilles, I wore a De Castro dress from our Sister Shop. I added a belt to give the silhouette a bit more shape, making it the perfect elevated look for dinner on the island.

The Markey Set

One of my favorite dinner looks of the trip. The Markey Set feels polished without trying too hard and was perfect for evenings out in Hamilton.

Hands down, the best travel hat.

A Lorna Murray hat.

The perfect travel hat — lightweight, easy to pack, and you never have to worry about crushing it in your suitcase or wearing it on the plane.

P.S. a little preview of what’s coming later this season...The Sullivan Set in embroidery doubled perfectly as a chic coverup and easy daytime look.

Crystal Caves + Swizzle Inn

One of our first stops was the Crystal Caves, one of Bermuda’s most iconic natural attractions. Afterwards, we headed to the nearby Swizzle Inn for cocktails, nachos, and the famous dollar-bill-covered walls. It’s lively, casual, and definitely worth a stop while exploring that side of the island.

Tennis At Rosewood

We spent one morning playing tennis at The Rosewood Bermuda before driving around the island in the cutest tiny electric car rented from Current Vehicles — complete with Apple CarPlay, which made exploring even easier.

Coral Beach & Tennis Club

One of our favorite slower afternoons of the trip was a beach walk followed by lunch at Coral Beach & Tennis Club, a private club situated on the south shore of Bermuda.

Where To Stay

We stayed at The Loren and absolutely loved it. Every room overlooks the ocean, making it impossible to have a bad view, and the staff made the entire experience feel so warm and welcoming from start to finish. The property feels modern but relaxed, the perfect home base for a few days on the island.
