Our newest collection is made in a women’s basketry cooperative in Morocco, allowing these women to be financially independent while providing their children with a safe and educational space. The remarkable craftsmanship of these women artisans is passed from mother to daughter. The baskets are woven by hand using natural raffia and then sent to a leather atelier to be finished.
In October 2019, Sara visited the cooperative in Morocco. She fell in love with the artistry and story and soon after the Maroc Collection was born! Adding a Beau & Ro twist with a flowered raffia front and pop of color in leather accents.
